About Gabriel's Restaurant…
Keeping up with the high energy Chef Gabriel Viti is no easy task.
In addition to his critically acclaimed eponymous restaurant, Chef Viti brings the community casual Parisian perfection with every plate at Miramar Bistro and Highwood's favorite place to grab a drink, Gabe's Back Stage Lounge.
Gabriel still finds time to support local as well as humanitarian causes, occasionally combining his passion for adventure with his culinary career. He most recently summited Antarctica's Mount Vinson Massif and became the 335th person to successfully climb the seven summits of the world.
His personal goal of conquering the "Seven Summits" was only part of his recent achievements. He also raised over $200,000 for Keshet, an organization that provides educational, and recreational and vocational programs for special needs children and young adults.
Additionally, he single-handedly roused the community by partnering with the Red Cross, and holding his very own "Japan-Aid" to raise money that directly benefitted victims of the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami.
